A Story of Passion and Bunnies 🍌
Hi, I’m Elodie — a bunny-loving French girl, and for over 10 years, rabbits have been a big part of my life.
My love for these little fluffballs led me to create several projects just for them, including “Mon Lapin Nain,” a French shop dedicated to bunny lovers, as well as other brands across Europe.
But Bunny Banana is something else.
It’s a deeply personal journey, born from a one-of-a-kind bond with my bunny “Faé”, who passed away in February 2024, just before her 10th birthday. 🌈
Faé wasn’t just a rabbit — she was our little star ✨, our muse 🐰.
She’s the reason these mats exist. Designed with love, for your bunny’s comfort, safety, and happiness. 💕
🌟 Without her, Bunny Banana and our mats simply wouldn’t exist.
And why the name Bunny Banana?
It’s a sweet little tribute to Faé — she was absolutely crazy about bananas! 🍌
So the name Bunny Banana felt like the perfect fit… fun, playful, and filled with love. 💛

And why the name Bunny Banana?
It’s a sweet little tribute to Faé, she was absolutely crazy about bananas! 🍌
So the name Bunny Banana felt like the perfect fit… fun, playful, and filled with love. 💛
💛 The mat idea… all started with a simple piece of paper towel
Back then, we had set up everything we could for Faé.
But something always felt… missing.
She loved lying on anything that ended up on the floor — a dropped sweater, a forgotten dish towel, even the placemat under her water bowl. 🥣🐇
One day, a single sheet of paper towel fell to the floor. Just a plain little square. 🍂
Faé came over, laid down on it… and stayed there, completely content — like it was her very own cozy little mat. 🐰
🙃That’s when we looked at each other and said:
“Okay… we have to create something just for her.” 💡💕
We tried all sorts of things:
A bath mat 🛁 (too thick — she kept chewing on it),
A blanket (it never stayed in place and kept sliding, which was dangerous for her little paws ⚡💥)…
And then… we found THE Solution ✨:
A flat, perfectly soft mat — cozy, non-slip, and just right.
Faé loved it instantly. 🐾💖
We placed her little house, her hay, her litter box on it… it became her kingdom!
She’d binky across it 🐰, nap peacefully 😴, and never wanted to leave.
It was her safe space — her little haven. 🧸✨
That’s when we thought:
“Why not share this with other bunnies too?” 💡💕

Bunny Banana is more than just a brand — it’s a tribute to Faé. 🤍🐇
It’s a heartfelt mission to make life better for bunnies, by giving them a space of comfort, safety, and joy. 🧺🏠
Our mat has already won over hundreds of bunnies across France and Europe 🌍💬.
The feedback has been amazing — and it’s this passionate community that keeps us going, day after day. ❤️🔥
Today, Faé is no longer with us physically, but she remains at the heart of everything I do. 💗
Through Bunny Banana, I want to carry on what she taught me:
That a bunny’s happiness comes from the little things…
like a soft, cozy mat beneath their paws. 🧸🐾
